1001 Fragrances & Colours (Full Day Tea Route)

The succession of fragrances and the contrast of a multitude of colours enrich this outing which alternates between the past and the present. The day starts with the visit of a colonial house of the late 19th century, where you will be immersed in the history and discover antique furniture. You will drive through Bois Chéri, the first tea plantations of Mauritius and enjoy a tea tasting experience. Then head to the Sugar Estate of Saint Aubin, in the South. You will visit a rum distillery, a small sugar factory and ‘La Maison de la Vanille’ where you can appreciate the process of transformation of this marvelous aroma. End the day at a Natural Park.
