Coquille Bonheur is committed to launching a Green Club to promote environmental awareness and inspire an eco-friendly lifestyle among students and teenagers. This initiative, in collaboration with Polytechnics Mauritius, the Ministry of Education, the Friends in Tourism Association, and with the support of the Ministry of Environment, aims to address the island's historical environmental challenges. These include the loss of native forests, the expansion of sugarcane plantations, and the impact of invasive species such as rodents and non-native plants, which have significantly affected Mauritius' delicate ecosystem.
